I'm almost thirteen and I have been wearing bikinis all my life. My mom (like someone else said) dosn't really care as long as I look good in it ;) Haha so ya I think you should be allowed to wear a bikini (if you are not overweight)

whats the big thing with not wearing one?!?!its soo cute and wearing a one peice is boring and uncomfortable. i feel confident in a bikini and other people should get the same freedom. plus it makes u look good!

its weird how people arnt allowed. i asked if i cud buy one , theres never been a problem for me . , you can just get a smaller or bigger size and you can always wear mini boardshorts. :)

Im 15 and my parents ( mainly my mom ) wont allow me to wear bikinis it because there super religious and think its a sin to "expose " yourself to others i personally dont think its wrong at all and now-a-days it almost impossible to find any non-bikini swimwear but i think that the parent should trust their child to be responsible and allow them to just plain be a teen

Well, i am 13, and i dont see what is wrong with wearing a bikini, what is there to show off when your this young,let us have a little freedom and be that much more comfortable with ourselves at the beach, what is the worst thing that could happen?im not allowed to do much, wearing bikinis is one i am allowed.

I'm 10. You guys are mostley 11, 12 and 13. I dont see a problem with wearing a bikini, my mum never said anything bad about them, i've woren bikinis since i was around 5 years old. A bikini is swimming gear, designed to make girls and women look fab. Some girls prefer a more 'joined' peice. It depends on what makes you feel better, my mum let me wear bikinis because I felt more confident, as said in the comment above. I also felt comfy, but when I'm in cold water, I wear whole swimming suits.

im 11 and i am goin to be 12 soon. my mother says i cant do a lot of things until im 12, and wearing bikinis is 1 of them. its okay, though, because im just fine in the bathin suits i have now. still, i want a bikini and its hard because my sister is a year older than me so she already got to do all the things i want to do. if any one thinks its bad to have a bathin suit, then they obviously never got to wear one.

I'm 12 my mum doesn't like me I'm bikinis because she said I look to grown up and I haven't developed yet me and mum where at a surf shop and I was planing on buying a bikini mum didn't know wether to let me or not she made me try it on see if I felt comfortable which I did so she let me buy it and she said if I ever didn't feel comfortable to put a rashie on top so she got me a matching rashie I think it's about how to feel in a bikini and if you think you can pull one off xx Leah

I'm 13 years old and I am going to Barcelona with 40 people from my school (it is a school trip), most girls will be wearing their bikinis and I don't think my mum will mind. But its kind of like being in your underwear in a way, I'd feel exposed :/ Like I wouldn't care if my best mates were around, its just the guys that are like 'oooooooh shes in a bikini omg' :/:/ i wouldn't know if i could wear one or not.

my mom always makes me wear a rash shirt when i go on holidays and to pools so she doesnt notice i wear a bikini underneath. she thinks its a tankini
