- What did your child like the best about the Shailie dress up system?
Audra liked that the different available outfits were close enough in color and style that they could be mixed and matched together. Audra liked the fact that her and her friends could try the outfit on after it was designed. Audra also likes to showcase her designs in her room on the stand. The only thing Audra didn’t like is that the kits only come with skirts and no pants. She hopes that more dress kits become available.
I think the starter kit and available additional dress kits make for a great gift. I would recommend purchasing at least one or two additional dress kits with the starter kit to maximize creativity. I also like the “closet” which stores all the dress pieces neatly on a hanger when it’s not being played with.
- What were Mom's thoughts?
I really like that this design kit encourages and actually demands that she use her imagination and creativity. However, I think the starter kit should come with more dress pieces. Without the dress pieces from the additional available sets, design is limited.
- What did her friends think?
Her friends tried it, loved it and wanted to know where to get it!
- What age range would you say this was for?
Ages 7 to 13, although I will admit that mom spent some time throwing a couple outfits together as well!
