Active boys love extra wide shorts for maximum maneuverability. Though cargo shorts and atletic shorts will continue to be popular, this year we are seeing more and more boys' shorts with cleaner lines and a slightly slimmer fit.Solid shorts in neutral colors such as khaki, navy, black and brown are always popular for boys. Sure. Once upon a time, young boys always wore shorts, especially when dressing up. I love seeing a toddler boy dressed to the nines in a suit complete with dress shorts.For older boys, shorts can dress up, but they can not be formal. For a dressy look with shorts, go for the "preppy look".
