Need to pick up another gift or two for your fashion lover? I've rounded up 10 fashion activity books, most of which are easy to find in your local book and toy stores. (If not, gift cards make great IOUs!)
I personally own several of these books and consider them valuable resources in our crafting library. One of my favorites is Sewing School: 21 Sewing Projects Kids Will Love to Make. My seven-year-old looked to this book when sewing a stuffed doll for her little sister this year, and she was able to complete the project with very little outside help. She was so proud, and the three-year-old recipient was enthusiastically grateful.
Another book we love is 32 Ways to Dress a Fox. My preschooler proudly scribbles, my kindergarten boy colors with imagination, and my oldest girl loves to experiment with collage papers, paints and patterns. This book is one of a series of three, and we love the concept so much that we've created a few spin-offs, like 32 Ways to Dress Your Brother and 25 Ways to Dress a Reindeer.
Check out the list, and check off another gift! Did the big day sneak up on you? Don't miss my list of 100 stocking stuffers for more last minute ideas that you can pick up around town.
