My favorite aspect of shopping challenges is seeing how kids put together clothes. Brothers Logan, Shane and Denham recently shopped for back-to-school clothes at Kohl's, and each boy found a back-to-school look to suit his style.
Nine-year-old twins Logan and Shane lean toward preppy polos, while seven-year-old Denham opts for a little edge to his casual basics. The boys also have preferences regarding patterns versus solids and light wash versus dark. I love that Mom lets the boys do their own thing. Respecting kids' tastes can strengthen their confidence and self image. What kid can't use an ego boost at the dawn of a new school year?
