Colin Maguire Tees : Cute Tees for a Super Cause
Wednesday September 13, 2006
I have been waiting to get a look at these tees ever since I first heard of them in August. And now that I've seen one, I'm even more excited about them and the project than I was before. What are Colin Maguire Tees?
Colin Maguire tees are adorable toddler tees that are "designed by big kids for little kids." The designs are chosen from submissions by older children, and a percentage of the profits go to benefit the children of The Children’s Inn at NIH. Every month, a new t-shirt design will be unveiled and sold on the Colin Maguire site.
The oh-so-cute tee featured on the right was designed by 14-year-old Rebecca Dunn. Rebecca's baby sister was a patient at the NIH when Rebecca came up with her winning design. You can read more about Rebecca on the tag of her tee, because every Colin Maguire t-shirt comes with the a tag depicting the designer's story, goals and dreams.
But, not only are these tees created for a good cause, they are really nice. I just love them. They feature simple, yet pleasing art work, stylishly unfinished hems, faux layering and nice colors. The cotton is super soft and washes well. Both kids and parents alike are sure to love them.
Enjoy free shipping on Colin Maguire tees during the month of September.
