Dressing the Kids for School
Tuesday August 22, 2006
When dressing your kids for school, or shopping for outfits that they'll be putting together themselves, think in total looks. Don't just toss them in a tee and a pair of jeans, at least not everyday. Put together outfits that look complete by going for a specific look. Now, this does not mean that they should be theme dressing or decked out in boutique outfits everyday, it just means that their outfits should look thought out, put together, coordinated and complete when your child walks out of the door. How they look after a long day of learning and playing is another story, but they should leave the house looking neat, clean and organized.

I don’t have kids of my own. But ever since before I always love to do dressing up with my nieces and nephews. I believe that it is important for kids to know how to look great even in an early age. Thus, dressing them up doesn’t merely letting them look great. There is learning present in this simple exercise.
I’m not sure where to go but I have a question that someone may hopefully help me with. At what age should you stop dressing little boys in things like whinnie the pooh, cookie monster or the wiggles? Isn’t 8 years old/ 2nd grade too old??
